My little pony
Who would have thought that such a simple style could take on so many forms? Ponytails were seen in many guises on the SS15 catwalks, from slicked front twists at Holly Fulton, to low slung at Margaret Howell, to side-swept and adorned at Bora Aksu.



Super-sleek
Le Sleek, C’est Chic! Well it is according to the likes of Alexander Wang, who worked the wet look with the most meticulously slicked-back locks, while slick high buns reigned supreme at Calvin Klein Collection.





School girl savvy
Centre partings and simple styles took us back to our school days at the likes of Boss Women and Donna Karan New York – team with barely-there make-up to perfect the look.


The future is here
Understated was not a word in the vocab of Marc by Marc Jacobs, who treated us to a futuristic feast with multiple buns twisted high onto the head. The feint-hearted need not apply!


Sweeping statement
A deep sweeping side fringe is a sure-fire way to instant glam, as demonstrated perfectly by the likes of Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford.
